Technology Laboratory
The Technology Laboratory represents the basic technological background for the care of national cultural monuments and other monuments under the administration of the National Heritage Institute. The laboratory primarily focuses on technology and research of historic building materials, and also deals with other materials as needed.


Heritage Sites Catalogue
The Heritage Sites Catalogue is a registration system containing data on cultural heritage sites, national cultural monuments, conservation areas, protection zones and other objects of interest to the conservation of monuments. Here you will find basic descriptive data including a photograph and a link to the location of the feature on the cadastral map.

Patrimonium pro futuro
Patrimonium pro futuro - The National Heritage Institute's Patrimonium pro futuro Award has been announced and awarded yearly by the National Heritage Institute since 2014 in an effort to evaluate and highlight what has been achieved in the field of heritage conservation and to recognise those who have contributed to the success of the work.
European Heritage Label
The European Heritage Label is awarded to sites that celebrate and symbolise European history and ideals. It is a prestigious European Union award that complements other initiatives, such as the World Heritage List or the Council of Europe's European Cultural Routes, and is intended to help strengthen European citizens' sense of belonging to the EU on the basis of shared values, history and cultural heritage.


Invalidovna – renewal project
The National Heritage Institute introduced a utilization study of Invalidovna. The historical site will be restored as a monument, opened to the public and newly enhanced by a layer of contemporary architecture in the form of extensions to the rear of the building, which will connect to blind gables of the Baroque building.
