Heritage sites open all year round

A number of castles and chateaux managed by the National Heritage Institute remain open even outside the usual tourist season. Discover these heritage sites in every season of the year.

Below you can find a list of heritage sites that are open from November until the end of the year and from January until the end of March. Before visiting, we recommend checking the opening hours directly on the websites of each site.

Nové Hrady Castle will be open in February and March, on a regular basis on Wednesdays and Fridays.

Lednice

Lednice Chateau will be closed from November 24 until the end of January due to filming.

Valtice

In January, the château is closed; the popular winter tours of the château chapel and theatre will be offered at Valtice Château from 13 February to 8 March 2026.

Villa Stiassni

Karlovy Vary Region

Kynžvart

Kynžvart Château is open to visitors in February and March every Tuesday and Thursday at 1:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m., and 3:00 p.m.; in April, in addition to the Tuesday and Thursday tour times, it will also be open every weekend.
